TY Students Perform Strictly Come Dancing


This year, the transition year students in Ardee Community School will take part in a Strictly Come Dancing competition in the Parish Centre, Ardee. The date is Wednesday, 9th May at 7:30. This involves students rehearsing their dance moves over a period of weeks, either in pairs or groups and performing in front of the public. The dances have all been choreography by ‘Take two’ productions. If you want to see jiving jazz dancing, show stopping numbers from ‘Grease’ and the Spice Girls, go to the Parish Centre on Wednesday, 9th and enjoy a great evening’s entertainment.

The event will be compered by local retailer, Hughie O’Neill. The judges are; local musical talent Tommy G (Past Pupil), Mr. Tony Corcoran, deputy principal and Ms. Sharon McCluskey of ‘Showbiz Kids’.

Tickets are 15 euro and are available from the school.
