Under 16 Girls played in a non-school league last year. They achieved a win in each of their games.

This year they are part of the official school league. To date they have achieved wins in all their games. They are a committed and dedicated team of players who support each other and importantly have fun!

The girls train on a Thursday evening after school and attend training on the occasional Friday mornings before school starts when a game is approaching, now that is dedication!

Rugby

Here at Ardee CS we have both girls and boys competing in rugby events throughout the year.  During PE Curriculum time, students have the opportunity complete a scheme of work led by a Leinster Rugby development coach. All students are encouraged to give Rugby a try.

The girls compete at both junior and senior level in tag rugby and contact rugby including the Leinster School X7s competitions.

Our U16 & U19 boys compete in the Leinster Schools Division 2A and in the Duff & McMullen Cups.

First year boys play in development Blitz events organised between schools and Leinster Rugby events.
