Rugby match,Ardee CS v.Drogheda Grammar School,Tuesday,21st of January.

Results
1st/2nd years
Ardee CS 57-0 Drogheda Grammar

Trys: Tom O’Brien x2, Tiernan Smith x2, Sean Callaghan, Conor Brady, Joe Durnin, Lorcan Donegan, Aaron Sheeran
Cons: T. O’Brien, L. Donegan, S. Callaghan x4.

In what has been a disappointing season for us on the rugby field, the youngsters provided a glimmer of hope for the future with the comprehensive dismantling of DGS.
The first 20mins saw a tightly fought contest with neither team breaking through, but in the tail end of the first half,Ardee found their rhythm to enter the break 17 points up. From the restart,Ardee were in total control and as the game went on,we ran in several tries. There were many strong performances worthy of Man of the Match: the pack played well including the substitutes who actually made us stronger, O’Brien and Callaghan had a great partnership in the backs but MOTM goes to scrum half,Aaron Sheeran, for his solid performance todayIt was a great win with plenty of positives but plenty to work on also. DGS had a lot of younger lads playing today so there will be far tougher opponents to come.
Those not training with the club are urged to start
